Deadly Doncaster 

Doncaster is embracing the Halloween season this October with a range of events for little monsters and grown-up ghouls across the city. First up we have the costume competition and mad-scientist mocktail lab at Kidz Hub Halloween Carnival. Looking for something a bit later? Head to Fever Dream Kills Live: The Nightmare Ball at The Imperial Music Venue, Mexborough to see one of Doncaster’s most exciting emerging alt acts take to the stage.  

If you want to save on fear, fares and fun this October, then free kids pumpkin carving is also available during the half-term week at the Corn Exchange, whilst local events hub The Sportsman offers a mix of 80s, 90s and 00s techno remix sets in addition to free entry. 

Restless Rotherham 

Rotherham is taking this spooky season seriously, with a choice of immersive spectacles, family parties, and roaring raves. Bring your blankets and book your tickets to Wentworth Woodhouse’s outdoor cinema screening of Disney Pixar’s ‘Coco’, or to their illuminative immersive drone show synced to a cinematic soundtrack.
